Original British Recruitment Rail Office Poster

This is a 1906, 1st edition, British recruitment rail office lithographic poster print in colors and backed onto linen by artist Guy Lipscombe (1881 - 1952). This beautiful military recruitment poster would have hung in a British rail station to solicit young men to join the service shortly following the end of the Boer War in South Africa and before the start of the Great War. Presented in a gilded frame.
