"Clear-The-Way!!" Liberty Loan WWI Bond Poster

This is a 1918, Howard Chandler Christy, 1st edition war bond poster soliciting the purchase of bonds to support the war effort by Fourth Liberty Loan. The poster reads, “Clear-The-Way-!!” and features a young woman surrounded by the Stars and Stripes with a group of sailors firing a big gun aboard a war ship. The poster was acquired from Atlanta, Georgia’s recently shuttered National Museum of Patriotism, and is backed on linen in excellent and bright condition.
