"Scotland For Your Holidays" First Edition Poster

This is the 1952 lithographic color print by Terence Cuneo (1907 - 1996) entitled “Scotland For Your Holidays”. This 1st edition poster has been backed onto linen and depicts the Gresley A4 Class Pacific Plover locomotive crossing the Forth Bridge in Scotland. The poster was produced for British Railways (BR) as a travel advertisement and would have hung in a British rail stations to generate Scottish tourism.

This striking poster was printed by Waterloo & Sons Ltd., London and is presented in a gilded, closed corner frame. Highly collected!
