Guy Steele Fairlamb

Guy Steele Fairlamb is a realist painter and portrait artist.

 

Born in Washington, D.C., Guy Fairlamb grew up in a Navy family and traveled and lived in Guam before settling in Baltimore, Maryland.  

 

Guy Fairlamb earned his B.F.A. from the Maryland Institute College of Art in Baltimore, Maryland and studied with Jacques Maroger and Ann Schuler at the Maryland Institute College of Art.  

 

He also studied at the University of Maryland, College Park, Maryland and Corcoran School of Art in Washington, D.C.  

 

After graduation he was appointed as artist in residence at St. John’s College, Annapolis, Maryland.  

 

Guy Fairlamb moved his studio to Georgetown, Washington, D.C. and resides in Chevy Chase, Maryland.
